In mid-March this year, we exhibited at Embedded World 2025 in Nuremberg, one of the most important trade fairs in Europe for embedded systems. With around 32,000 visitors from over 80 countries and nearly 1,200 exhibitors, the event brought together players from different market sectors as automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics, and everything in between.
This year, we went bigger – literally. Our booth was larger than last year’s, giving us more space to showcase what we do best: helping device manufacturers with cybersecurity. And let’s just say, there were a lot of questions.

Regulations
One of the hottest topics at the fair was cybersecurity compliance, with many manufacturers realizing they couldn’t afford to ignore it or delay the implementation anymore. In particular, we had many conversations about the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the Radio Equipment Directive Delegated Act (RED DA). The latter comes into force on August 1, 2025, making cybersecurity mandatory for connected wireless devices sold in the EU.
The level of concern was clear, not just from our booth discussions but also from the strong attendance at our dedicated speech, sponsored by our partner Melchioni Electronics S.p.A. Our speech was titled “Cybersecurity: regulations, standards and solutions for embedded devices”.

ARIANNA Platform

That’s where our ARIANNA platform came in. At our booth, we ran a live demo featuring multiple boards from our SoM partners, showcasing how ARIANNA helps manufacturers generate SBOMs and HBOMs and monitor vulnerabilities to stay compliant with upcoming regulations.
The demo setup was a hit. With a big screen and a lineup of hardware, visitors could see firsthand how easy it can be to identify and manage security risks across different embedded systems.
Embedded World 2025 made one thing clear: addressing cybersecurity risks is no longer a choice.
For us, the event was an opportunity to connect with industry partners and leaders, answer important security questions, and showcase how we can help address cybersecurity in smart devices.
If you missed us at Embedded World and want to learn more about how ARIANNA can simplify your cybersecurity strategy, let’s talk!
